Responsibility & Liability of Floaters
Valuables (wallets, watches, jewelry, etc) should NOT be taken in canoe.
All Property taken should be secured to the canoe thwarts.
Normal wear of canoes is expected, but excessive damage, Lost paddles and/or PFDs must be paid for by the renter.
Renters are responsible for boats & gear until it is returned to Tack-A-Paw.
Acknowledgement of Risk Form must be signed by
ALL canoers. We will provide you with the best advice & equipment
available, BUT once you are on the water your judgment &
skill take over.
Please exercise caution - Canoeing is a potentially
dangerous activity
Trash bags are provided with the canoe. Please help us keep the river clean. Carry out what you carry in, and a little more.
Rental Information
Canoe rental for no more than 2 adults per canoe.
Additional for 3rd person in canoe if over the age of 12
Overnight rentals are available
All rentals include canoe, paddles, coast guard approved PFD and a trash bag. Shuttle to put-in and take-out can be provided, if needed, for your trip. Call for a price quote.
Reservations
Reservations are secured ONLY if paid IN FULL in advance or confirmed by credit card number. Reservations will be held until 9:30am. Canoes will then be rented on a first come, first serve basis. Walk-ins are accepted if canoes are available.

Cancellations
To receive a full refund, cancellations must be received 3 days in advance. After that time, any rental fees will be forfeited. In case of low water, high water levels or other dangerous conditions, canoe trips will be canceled and fees refunded in full. These conditions will be determined by Tack-A-Paw staff.
NOTE: NO REFUNDS AFTER TRIP BEGINS
Other Services
Canoes are available for special events in other areas. We have provided boats for adventure races in Texas and classes in Arkansas. Contact us for your special needs!
Shuttle services are available. Contact us for rate, which is dependent on your put-in & take-out requirements.
